In transportation, north-south main roads in Wuci Township include Linguang Road (Taiwan Provincial Highway No. 17), West Coast Expressway No. 61, Jhongyang Road and Jhonghua Road (Taiwan Prtovincial Highway No. 1). To the north, West Coast Expressway No. 61can go thtough Dajia, Hsinchu to northern Taiwan. To the south, West Coast Expressway No. 61 can go through Changhua to southern Taiwan. Jhongyang Road and Jhonghua Road can lead to the Dadu Interchange, Sun Yet-san Expressway. Jhongchi Road, the east-west main road, penetrates Shalu to reach Taichung City and Fongyuan City and can go to Sun Yet-san Expressway by way of the interchange in Taichung City.

　　Besides, the Wuci section of the 50-meter-wide Guangnan Road has been completed. After the Shalu section and Longjin section are completed, the way to National Freeway No. 3 from Wuchi Township would be more convenient. What’s more, 40-meter-wide Dachi Road would be extended to Taiwan Provincial Highway No. 1.

　　Recently, besides constructing roads, bridges, refuting and mould protections aggressively, Wuci Township also build watergates to prevent the sea tidal waves from flooding in. West Coast Expressway No. 61can also connect with Dayung Road, Dajen Road, Dachi Road, Jhongchi Road and Taiwan Provincial Highway No. 3, making access roads around Taichung Harbor more convenient.
